SERVICES

The service is provided on the day and at the time specified at the time of booking, Taxi Driver Connect undertakes to be punctual. In the event of force majeure (accident, traffic problem, blocked road, bridge closed to traffic, detour, flooded road, traffic jam, police, customs, fire department intervention on the road, etc.), Taxi Driver Connect undertakes to do everything in its power to ensure continuity of service, using another partner company or other.

RATES

Cab Driver Connect sets the price of the service according to the information provided by the Customer. The prices indicated in our rates include VAT at the rate set by the regulations in force for transport services (10% for transfers, 20% for provisioning), driver service, fuel, unlimited insurance for the persons transported and tolls are included in the transport. Parking fees are not included.

AVAILABILITY

Corresponds to the provision of a chauffeur-driven vehicle for a number of hours specified when the order is placed. The rate does not include parking, meal and hotel expenses for the chauffeur(s). A maximum number of kilometers is indicated for each reserved time. If the duration reserved is not indicated in the following examples, please contact Taxi Driver Connect by email to find out the number of kilometers: contact@taxidriverconnect.com

1 – 3 hour rental: approx. 30 kilometers
3 – 5 hours: approx. 60 kilometers
5 – 7 hours: approx. 100 kilometers
7 – 14 hours: approx. 160 kilometers

PAYMENT

We accept the following forms of payment: Credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard) Bank transfer, Cash. No payment by cheque will be accepted except for local companies invoiced at the end of the month. Cab Driver Connect cannot access your bank details at any time.

PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

Cab Driver Connect makes every effort to accommodate people with reduced mobility.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND CIVIL LIBERTIES

The parties to the contracts declare that they comply with their obligations under current regulations concerning the production of personal data, and in particular law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, amended by the law of August 6, 2004.

SUBCONTRACTING

Cab Driver Connect reserves the right to use subcontractors in order to ensure continuity of service, provided that the service offered is equivalent to that of Taxi Driver Connect.

QUALITY OF SERVICE

Transporting people for hire or reward is a regulated activity. Only authorized vehicles are allowed to provide this service:

With a professional card number issued by the prefecture.
With a registration certificate issued by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, Bureau de l’organisation du transport routier de voyageurs / pôle VTC.
With a registration badge affixed to the vehicle’s windshield.

Cab Driver Connect undertakes to provide or arrange for the provision of transport services in accordance with the booking form and in compliance with all regulations and legislation in force.

In the event of sub-contracting, Taxi Driver Connect ensures that the persons and companies it uses meet the same conditions.

Cab Driver Connect also reserves the right to subcontract all private transport services to drivers selected by Taxi Driver Connect.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER AND PERSONS TRANSPORTED

The customer undertakes :

Compliance with the Highway Code (wearing of seat belts, car seats, booster seats, etc.),
Respect the ban on smoking, eating and transporting dangerous, toxic or flammable substances inside our drivers’ vehicles.
If necessary, your driver will make a stop along the way.
– Respect the prohibition on consuming alcohol on board the vehicle,
– Luggage is accepted but remains the customer’s responsibility. Cab Driver Connect cannot be held responsible for any damage to and/or loss of luggage or electronic devices (telephone, tablet etc….).
– Any damage to the vehicle caused by the customer will be charged to the customer.
– For all other damage resulting in immobilization of the vehicle – invoiced on an actual basis + immobilization costs + loss of sales based on an average of the last 3 months. In the event of damage leading to cancellation of the following service, a fixed charge of €450.00 will be applied in addition, payable immediately by credit card.
– Cleaning in the event of vomit will be invoiced at €450.00 (incl. VAT), payable immediately by credit card.
– Small pets are accepted, provided they are in a carrier. Large assistance dogs are allowed.

Failure to comply with these provisions renders the customer and passengers exclusively liable to Taxi Driver Connect and third parties. Cab Driver Connect declines all responsibility for the actions of its customers before and after their transport. Cab Driver Connect reserves the right to refuse to pick up, or to disembark, a passenger who does not respect these obligations, as well as an alcoholic passenger.

Delays in transport times due to unforeseeable traffic problems will not give rise to any right to compensation whatsoever.

CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF A RESERVATION

Requests for cancellation or modification must be made by e-mail to: contact@taxidriverconnect.com

Any request to modify or cancel a reservation must be made at least 4 hours before the agreed service time.

After this time, all or part of the booked service will be billed according to the terms below:

Cancellation less than 4 hours before the appointment time, 100% of the reservation fee is due.
Cancellation between 4 and 12 hours before the appointment time, 50% of the reservation fee is due.
Cancellation at least 12 hours before appointment time, no charge and full refund.
WAITING TIME

Free waiting time varies according to the pick-up point:

At the station: 25 minutes free waiting time after your train’s arrival time, then 1 euro for each additional minute of waiting.
At the airport: 45 minutes free of charge after your flight’s scheduled landing time, then 1 euro for each additional minute of waiting.
Other locations: 10 minutes free of charge, then 1 euro for each additional minute of waiting.
For station and airport pick-ups, our drivers are obliged to wait 60 minutes for the customer, and in other locations are obliged to wait 10 minutes from the pick-up time set at the time of booking. After this time, customers not present at the pick-up point will be considered as “no-shows” and will be billed the amount of the reservation.

NUMBER OF PASSENGERS

The maximum number of passengers must not exceed the maximum number of passengers indicated for the vehicle you selected at the time of booking. The Driver reserves the right to refuse a passenger exceeding these limits.

PETS

Only small pets weighing no more than 6 kg and suitably enclosed may be accepted. Translated with 

Our vehicles are not intended for use on unpaved roads (dirt roads…etc….). These roads will be used by our drivers, with the prior agreement of the customer, if they present no risk of puncture, and a 15-euro wash will be charged to clean up the vehicle.

DAMAGE

The customer will be responsible for any damage to the interior of the car caused by him/her or his/her companions during the Service, and will be billed accordingly for any repairs required to restore the car to good working order and/or cleanliness and/or presentability.

INSURANCE

Cab Driver Connect undertakes to do its utmost to accompany its passengers to their destination as safely and quickly as possible. All our partner drivers are insured by reputable, solvent insurance companies, covering all risks relating to their activity, in compliance with current legislation.

In terms of civil liability, these insurance contracts cover all direct material and immaterial damage, as well as bodily injury to the passenger, within the limits set by the current insurance contract. With the exception of damage caused by the customer’s own responsibility, from the moment he or she enters the vehicle to the moment he or she leaves, including these two actions.

JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions are governed by French law, and any disputes arising from their interpretation or execution shall be submitted to the Commercial Court.
